Learning the production process of glass marbles
Recently, our company's sales department visited our factory which produces glass marbles, and gained a deeper understanding of the production process of glass marbles.
According to the person in charge of the factory, the production process of glass marbles mainly includes raw material preparation, melting, moulding, annealing, polishing, inspection and packaging. Firstly, the workers will choose high-quality glass raw materials, such as quartz sand, limestone, soda ash and so on, and mix them according to a certain proportion. Then, the mixed raw materials are put into the furnace and heated to a high temperature to make them melt. Next, the molten glass liquid is poured into a mould and shaped into a spherical shape by rotating the mould or otherwise.
After forming, the glass marbles are annealed, which is a very important step. Annealing removes stress from the inside of the glass marbles and prevents them from breaking during use. The annealed glass marbles also need to be polished to make its surface smooth and improve the quality of appearance. Finally, after strict inspection, the qualified glass marbles will be packed and ready to be put on the market.
During the visit, the reporter noticed that the factory adopts advanced production equipment and technology to ensure the quality and production efficiency of the products. At the same time, the factory also focuses on environmental protection and has taken a series of measures to reduce the emission of waste gas, waste water and waste residue.
As a traditional toy, glass marbles are very popular among children. Through this visit, we understand more about the production process of glass marbles and feel the hard work of the workers. We believe that in the future, with the continuous progress of science and technology, the production process of glass marbles will be more perfect, bringing more and better toys for children.
